Apfelkuchen #4: Apple Crumble Coffee Cake

Dry Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour (260 g)
1 teaspoon baking powder (½ TL)
¾ teaspoon baking soda (½ TL)
½ teaspoon fine sea salt (½ TL)
mix, set aside

Crumble Mixture:
1 ½ cups finely chopped toasted walnuts (150 g)
⅓ cup packed light brown sugar (70 g)
⅓ cup white sugar (70 g)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (3 EL)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (1 TL)
¼ teaspoon salt (¼ TL)
mix well, set aside

Wet Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar (200 g)
½ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature (115 g)
cream together

2 large eggs
one at a time, whisk together

1 cup plain yogurt (240 g)
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract (1 ½ TL)
mix
add dry ingredients
mix

2 apples
dice finely, add, mix

9x12-inch baking dish (23 x 30,5 cm)

half of dough into baking dish
add half of crumble mixture
add second half of dough
top with second half of crumble mixture

180 °C 40 minutes
